The Swell Brief

The Swell Brief is designed for iPhone and Apple Watch. You can use your location or search for another surf area, save favorite spots, compare upcoming windows, and carry the same brief onto your wrist. For current forecasts, tides, buoy observations, and safety information, confirm that your device has an internet connection. Apple Health access is optional and only needed to record surf workouts.

If conditions do not refresh, open The Swell Brief on your iPhone, verify that the selected spot is correct, and pull to refresh. The observation time and confidence note show whether live buoy data is recent enough to validate the forecast. A stale-data message means the app is displaying its last saved brief while the network is unavailable.

For Watch or complication sync issues, keep the paired iPhone nearby, open both apps once, and confirm that the same saved spot is selected. Restarting the apps or devices is safe; deleting the app removes locally saved spots, preferences, alerts, and feedback.

Bubble Sanctuary

Bubble Sanctuary is designed for iPhone and iPad in portrait orientation. For the full experience, keep your sound on and choose a comfortable volume before entering the tide.

Your progress

Your Sanctuary, settings, and progress are stored locally on your device. The game does not require an account. Deleting the app also removes its locally stored progress, so please do not delete it while troubleshooting unless we ask you to.

Reading comfort, ambience, and pauses

During play, open the three-dot menu to adjust ambience or choose Larger Text. The pause control lets the ocean rest until you are ready to continue.

If something does not feel right

First, pause and reopen the game screen. Confirm that your device is not muted, raise the media volume, and install the latest available beta. If the issue continues, restart your device without deleting the app.
